Cause Marketing Matters
Consumers are paying attention to more than just ads. The American Marketing Association reports that 1 out of 3 consumers said they would be more likely to buy a product or service if they knew that a certain amount of the purchase price was being donated directly to a cause or campaign. Some other interesting findings:
- 40 percent of women are more likely to buy products
associated with a charitable campaign.
- 46 percent of 18 to 24 year olds were more likely to buy
products associated with a charitable campaign.
