I had the pleasure of sitting down with Cindy Long to learn about her background in publishing. With a great deal of experience and relevant work history, Cindy has excelled in this industry without a doubt! Learning about all her different roles and what she has discovered along the way has been very enlightening.
College is a great opportunity to learn more about your areas of interest and future career goals, but sometimes it takes on-the-job experience to discover something that you didn’t even know you were interested in. This is the case for Caroline Maher, Family Features’ 2017 summer intern. Caroline will be a senior at Kansas State University and graduating with a degree in Mass Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising. She thought she knew where she wanted her job path to lead, but her time at Family Features has opened her eyes to options that she hadn’t originally considered.
We read them every day and everywhere. Boring, old, lists.

Some of these lists can just be exhausting.
Listicles can be one of the most challenging types of content out there. They have become wildly popular within the last few years, and it’s no surprise why. They keep our attention and they are all vastly different from one another. They stand out from our traditional copy. And, they are fun to read and to write.
