Meet Tanner Chadd, the newest member of the Family Features Team! We are excited to have Tanner join our company in the role of Digital Marketing Specialist. Here’s more about Tanner, his background and new position:
1. Tell me a little about yourself. Where were you born? Are you from Kansas City?
I was born in Pratt, Kansas, but when I was 2 years old my family moved to Council Grove, Kansas, and that’s where I grew up.
2. Where did you attend college and what was your major?
I attended Kansas State University and received my bachelor’s degree in marketing. Go ’Cats!
3. Do you have any experience in this field or interesting past experiences to share?
I have been in the marketing and advertising realm for 3+ years and I really enjoy the paid digital and strategy aspects of marketing. I’ve been involved in multiple types of industries such as food, roofing and e-commerce, and I have agency experience, so I was able to dip my hands in all sorts of industries.
4. What excites you and what challenges you in this new position?
I am excited to build new relationships inside and outside the company. What really amps me up is the idea of increasing the marketing efforts and brainstorming new ways to grow Family Features.
5. So far, how would you describe the environment at Family Features?
I’ve only just recently joined the team and it feels like I just joined a family. Everyone has been incredibly kind and welcoming. Every time I enter a room I’m greeted with smiles and positivity.
6. When you’re not working, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
When my wife and I are not visiting a winery, distillery or brewery, you can find us hitching up our camper and heading to a lake. I love camping, fishing, hiking and generally doing things outdoors. If we aren’t camping, we are most likely playing different games together. We are competitive and love to challenge one another to board games, video games, card games, you name it!
7. Do you have any pets?
I am a proud dog dad to a handsome mutt named Oliver.
8. Do you have any big plans or goals for this year?
My wife and I want to take our new camper out this year and visit new places.
