Builders Blog PicsWith the city’s bright lights, endless eateries and exciting events, it can be easy to get caught up in all Las Vegas has to offer. Luckily for Family Features, our sales team was able to get an inside look at the corporate side of “Sin City” with its annual National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) International Builders’ Show (IBS)

IBS hosts approximately 1,500 companies and manufacturers ranging from smaller technology products to large name brands you can find in nearly any household. Nancy Hanks and Andrew Carlson, members of the Family Features sales team, attended the show’s 75th anniversary of homebuilding, products and innovation Feb. 19-21.

Their primary focus at IBS was to network with existing and potential clients that could benefit from a content partner like Family Features. Hanks and Carlson highlighted our expertise in content marketing – the ability to get a brand’s product and story directly in front of millions of consumers.

“The builders’ show was a great opportunity for us to connect with our clients and learn what’s important to their brands,” Hanks said. “It’s always great to see new products firsthand and ask how we can help with the launch.”

Even though an exhibitor’s primary goal is to spread the word on current or upcoming products and make connections with potential buyers, Family Features can further benefit businesses by extending their coverage goals beyond just the show’s attendees. At the conference, our team members were surrounded by visual examples of important products potential clients want to bring to market for consumers. Our team can now use that information to create a tailored content campaign and deliver it to millions of American consumers.

IBS also provided an opportunity to meet face-to-face with clients in an environment centered around their products. Connecting with as many brands as possible is a goal for our sales team members to allow them a level of exposure that they may not experience elsewhere.

“Attending IBS each year is something I look forward to,” Carlson said. “I get to see what my clients are working on from a direct perspective and learn how to effectively be an ambassador for their brands.”

Having our sales team represented at networking conferences and trade shows helps team members gain more knowledge of how our services can assist different companies.

With another year at IBS in the books and a full-fledged excitement for delivering content to new clients, our team has its sights set on all that is to come this year.
