A native of Kansas City, Missouri, Dianne literally grew up in the marketing business. Her father, David Selders, owned an advertising agency which, over the years, represented a number of food accounts. In the early 70’s, David started forming an idea for a new marketing service for food companies and associations – a way to reach the public through recipe marketing strategy, targeted to U.S. daily newspapers. He incorporated newly-available computer techniques in developing unique reporting methods which gave new and improved accountability. In 1974, David turned his idea into a reality.
